I’m in the thick of it and loving every beautiful minute! As I shop the stores and deck my halls, I’m touched by how much holiday bling makes me smile. In this context, I define “bling” as anything that makes me incredibly happy during the holidays!
Here are five of my favorite holiday bling ideas from HomeGoods:
1. Things that light up.
Talk about dual purpose — it speaks volumes while lighting the way in style. It’s the right mix of ambient lighting and whimsy.
2. Things that are soft and inviting.
This year, I treated myself to a few new holiday pillows. The soft knits beg me to take a well-deserved winter nap.
Besides, who doesn’t want to see “good morning gorgeous” and get invited to snuggle every day?
3. Things with faux snow.
Baby, it’s cold outside, but I love these snow-dusted wreaths that don’t melt in a cozy warm house.
I consider it snow appreciation without the chilly downside.
4. Things that pack a vertical (and sparkly) punch.
Give a room a lift by leading the eye upwards. Vertical accessories can be used so many ways to give a room some extra punch!
5. Things that are super-sized.
Larger than life holiday pieces take on a life of their own and offer a fun, unexpected flair to a room! I love the enormous ornament, but my daughter seemed a little suspicious of Santa.
What is your favorite holiday bling? Have a very happy holiday season!
