Though we’re still planning beach trips, barbecues, and enjoying summer styles, we’re just a week away from August which marks the third act of summer. Fall is my favorite season! To start, the weather is much more palatable. But I also love the vibrant colors and textures that come with the transition into the cooler weather. And with fall on my mind, it’s time to start thinking about getting your wardrobe and your home ready for a new season.
Fortunately, HomeGoods is a good start. I decided to help my friend and fellow blogger Natalie of the Fashionably Broke add some hints of fall into her home decor with a little mini shopping spree. From rich cowhide pillows to furry knitted blankets, there are so many ways to changeover your home into fall — slowly but surely.
Here are my top 5 easy tips:
1. Add dark and light woods to your bedroom to give it a woodsy feel. I love this wooden tray and dark lamp from HomeGoods.
